Co-ords or monochrome in this case, were never just for kids. It has moved up the ladder of adolescence and into a crowd we find ourselves most comfortable, the grown up crowd haha. While there are the typical wild prints and colors available in this trend, I personally love pairing like colors or similar neutral shades together, as it gives off a rather sophisticated vibe. Believe it or not for this look, I reversed the dress so what was supposed to be a V-neckline became a V-backline (Is that a thing? haha). I also synched in the waist with a double buckle belt making the look more interesting, and of course to contrast the belt, I added my favorite thigh-high boots from Public Desire (a trend I’m probably never going to give up on) and my minimal black backpack. Can we say chic? I think we can.
This look makes 2/3 of the outfits I chose to feature from Light in the Box (see previous look here), as I adored the the olive green color and was in the process of finding dresses and skirts to pair with my new favorite thigh-high boots from Public Desire. Light in the Box has a wide and endless variety of co-ord styles that would be great for a holiday event or a date night out. Amidst their end of the year sale, you’ll be able to find these styles including my look above at a fraction of the price! Be sure to check out the site here and find your pick!
