So school has officially started and I am completely compromised haha. With endless amounts of homework and a part-time job, it can be hard to manage my blog on a consistent basis, but I’m glad to say I have found a solution. I bought myself a daily planner from Moleskine to organize my life and so far so good! I’m currently working on a schedule that is realistic for me in terms of how well I can multitask. Let’s see how it goes over the next few weeks ?.
Now about this outfit:
In light of a recent collaboration with Tobi, I chose a few of my favorite pieces from their site to show you within the next couple of weeks. This look is featuring Tobi’s All Business Shift Dress which I chose particularly for its boxy silhouette, striped pattern, and flattering deep-v neckline. If you saw the look on my Instagram, in the caption I mentioned the dropped temperature that day and how I disregarded it by giving some leg action ?. For more Tobi dresses, click here!
My over-the-knee boots helped loads by adding that extra layer my legs needed. On a serious note though, these passed couple of days, New York was reported to be near record-breaking cold, that the mayor advised the public to stay in! If you don’t live in the east coast, I hope you didn’t have to experience our unfortunate weather.
This dress is perfect for smart layering and reaches a length that goes well with tall boots or booties (I’m 5’7″ FYI)! It calls for a business casual type of feel, but trust me, if you opt for a pair high-heel over-the-knee boots, remove the turtleneck and add some lacy details for some cleavage action, you could wear it for late night as well ?. Just be creative!
Now for some accessory talk:
I have to say ever since I got my beanie from Cute Birdie Shop, I’ve worn it everyday. It’s warm and cozy and goes with everything. Chunky beanies are now my most favorite winter accessory and I plan on stocking up for next winter as well. The great thing about these beanies is that they are handmade with 100% wool! The threading is absolutely perfect and adjustable for any size, even my large head XD.
You have to check out this line called Geek N’ Gal! They have the most perfect jewelry for every minimalist out there. I’m not the one for statement/costume jewelry or an extensive amount of stackable bracelets, but time and time again I will sport a simple necklace or ring to enhance my looks. It’s all about the details guys and Geek N’ Gal gets it, hands down.
What’s you favorite detail about this outfit?
From top to bottom:
Turtleneck: Uniqlo (Heattech)
Hope you’re all having a great week! See you all on the next post!
