Double Crossed

Spring weather has been creeping up on New York City this week. On Wednesday, it was 70 degrees and I was finally able to walk outside without a jacket. Plus I had the day off, so staying indoors was not an option. I got lost around West 4th. There you’ll find plenty of restaurants and the famous New York University (NYU) campus filled with people outside, also enjoying the beautiful weather.

The Outfit:

Now I’m sure we all know 70 degrees isn’t necessarily booty shorts weather, so I opted for my cool and breezy black culottes. Then paired it with this lovely striped cut-out top by Tobi.

I’ve gotten plenty of complements on this top. It’s structured fit and cut-out details gives off this hip professional type of look, that I love. In fact, it gives me another outfit idea! Think day to night by switching out the culottes for a pair of high waisted flare pants and open-toe wedges. Can you imagine it? Because I can ?. Click here to see more tops from Tobi!

These vintage silk culottes will forever be in my closet. They go with absolutely everything and make a great quality staple for any closet. Check out more culotte styles below!
