Camel

Camel has always been the perfect color, not only for my skin tone, but for my closet as well. It goes with almost everything and is the best minimal alternative to black and white.

With my Spring semester fast approaching, I’m trying to finish my closet by getting rid of clothes I don’t wear. Also, with the temperature dropping to low 20’s, I’m happy to say I have finally transitioned my closet to accommodate this Winter weather, a season I’m slowly starting to enjoy. While sifting through some of my finds, choosing what to keep or give away, I came across this timeless camel coat I got from a J.Crew Sample Sale in NYC for only $75! I figured, this will definitely not fall into the donation pile. at least for a very long time haha.

I also found my favorite and only over-the-knee boots I have abandoned for the Summer/Fall months. These babies I could never get rid of as they are super trendy and WATERPROOF! Yes, I said it. Last year Cole Haan had (and still does) a decently priced line of beautifully crafted leather waterproof boots. Unless you are willing to pay an arm and a leg, these type of shoes can be hard to find. Unfortunately, this style has not re-released this year, but from looking at their site recently, they have a couple of styles worth looking at (see options below).

Again, I have to mention Polette as they are slaying my life and saving my pockets XD. These are the sunnies that give me that chic Céline look I was going for and such a great find I must say. At only $10, these are the type of glasses I will bring out more often! Super clean and minimal, just the way I like it!

Hope your weekend went as well as mine!
